How we help

When relationships change or end, finding a way forward takes support. We help families work through tough times, always keeping children's needs at heart. We support parents and other family members to:

  • make decisions together
  • work through separation with less conflict
  • focus on children's wellbeing

Our services include:

  • family dispute resolution - help with making agreements about children, finance and property
  • counselling for couples or individuals with children - support to manage separation and parenting challenges
  • parenting after separation program - for parents with court orders
  • child inclusive practice - ways to include your children's voices in decision-making.

Our experienced team creates a safe space where you can talk things through and find positive solutions. We understand this is a difficult time and we're here to help your family find its path forward. The Family Relationship Centre is an initiative of the Australian Government.
