How we help
We partner with GPs, pharmacists, psychologists and other health professionals to help clients reduce their benzodiazepine use. Our specialist team offers training, support and resources to help you safely prescribe or deprescribe benzodiazepines to patients. Available support for health professionals:
- Comprehensive benzodiazepine toolkit to guide your clinical practice.
- Conversion charts for safe medication management.
- Secondary consultations with our specialist team.
- Evidence-based resources to support your work.
- Professional development opportunities
- Deprescribing training with GPs and other prescribers.
This free service is available to health professionals across Victoria. Our experienced team understands the complexities of benzodiazepine dependency and can help you develop practical strategies for supporting your clients through change.

We receive government funding to provide this service. This means you will pay no fee or a small fee, depending on your situation. We'll always talk through the cost before we get started.
Health professionals in Victoria can access this service for free.
You may be able to make care more affordable through Medicare rebates, your private health insurance or other funding support. We're here to help you understand all your options.
NDIS fee schedule
As a registered NDIS provider, we understand that planning your NDIS support takes time and careful thought. A key part of your decision-making is knowing exactly what things cost. We make our prices clear before you start services so you can choose the support that works best for you.
Contact our Reconnexion team on 1300 273 266 (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm) to:
- book a secondary consultation
- organise training for you or your team.
To refer a client to our service, please complete our online referral form. Go to reconnexion.org.au/make-a-referral. We'll contact your client within 2 business days and keep you updated on their progress. You can also contact our national support centre below to learn more about this and other Each services.
