How we help

Caring for someone with disability affects the whole family. Our team helps you build stronger relationships, plan for the future and take care of everyone's wellbeing. This is a statewide service for any family member caring for someone with intellectual, physical, neurological, learning, acquired brain injury, mental illness or sensory disabilities. Counselling We provide short-term counselling to help your family:

  • Talk through concerns with counsellors experienced in disability
  • Strengthen family relationships
  • Resolve conflicts with help from an accredited mediator
  • Get support as a couple or as a family

Information and guidance We help you navigate available services and options:

  • Learn about services available to you and your family
  • Understand where to start when you need help
  • Find information tailored to your situation

Group forums Connect with others who understand what you're going through in our supportive group sessions:
